The S-Type R boasts a 390 HP supercharged V8. Despite the big power and wicked look, it's as comfortable as anyone could ask for. I'm constantly amazed at how this car combines fine handling and comfortable ride so effectively.

Black centered 19" Antera wheels perfectly complement the S-Type R's black trim. Antera claimed that they would fit the S-Type R without modification, but the rear spokes hit the brake calipers. We had to add 5mm spacers and machine special centering rings to get them to fit right, but the great look was worth the trouble.

Here's a closeup of the Antera Type 309 wheel. They were painted black by the supplier, GMP Performance of Charlotte, NC. The polished rim is actually a removable trim piece which can be replaced if you curb it. I searched the internet for two years for cost-effective wheels with this deep-dish look. These were the only ones I could find.

I've added a custom Quad Exhaust from England's Racing Green Cars. According to Racing Green Cars; "The system gives a very purposeful look to the car and produces a seriously sporting exhaust note! Beautifully finished, the stainless steel tail pipes give the car an unmistakably exclusive look." Too true! If you want to hear what it sounds like check Jaguar's All-New 2007 XK web site and click "Drive It." The new XK sounds just like my S-Type R, not surprising since they share the same basic powertrain.

Here's the RGC exhaust laid out on the ground before installation. Only aviation quality 306-gauge stainless steel here, made for RGC by the suppliers of the exhaust system for the McLaren F1 road car. Rather than providing two fully-welded muffler assemblies, as is common with other, less expensive, brands. RGC has chosen to provide mufflers, exhaust tips, and exhaust pipes as seperate clamp-together pieces. This insures that the installer can custom fit the assembly to the specific car, centering the tips in the bumper cutouts as well as sliding the tips in or out in order to match the tip position to the contour of the bumper.
