3. Old truck 1979
This is my current project truck. It's a 1990 Chevy K2500.
I bought it in march of 2004. It started out as a K1500 4x4 with a 4.3L V6, 5spd manual tranny, NP241 T-case, IFS/10bolt axles with stock gears, 3inch body lift, 33 inch mudkings. I drove it this way for about 3 months then i repainted it forest green, put chrome bumpers on it and got some new tail lights and mirrors. I continued to drive it for another couple months. Then in march of 2005 i bought a little ford escort to drive and put my truck in the shop, getting ready for a complete rebuild.
6 months later and it is now a K2500 4x4 with
3/4 ton 10bolt lincon locked with spicer u-joints/14bolt SF lincon locked with 4.10 axles, rebuilt TBI 350, rebuilt TH350 with 1900 stall converter and skift kit, NP208 T-case, custom straight axle conversion with 4 inch springs in front, custom shackle flip and 3 inch blocks in the rear, B&M starshifter and a CB radio. I have recently built a new rear bumper for it with tow hooks and built in lights. I have also built a new headache bar behind the cab that hold 2 flood lights. I'm in the process of building a new front bumper that will hold a few more lights and possibly a new winch. I also just got a new set of tires for it, some 38x12.50x15 TSL super swampers.
