This is my new 1988 Silverado 1500 regular cab. It has the 305 5.0 V8 under the hood. Also has dual Flowmaster exhaust. I have to get some more batteries for my camera to finish taking pics of the outside and inside of the truck, but until then, this should hold you over.
The truck was kept in damn near perfect condition and you would never guess it was an 88 just seeing it driving down the road. The interior is super clean as well as the engine bay. The truck only has 120,000 miles on it, which comes out to about 7000 miles per year. Only downside is it will need 4 new tires in roughly 15000 miles.
***UPDATE 3/8/06***
The 2" DJM drop coils came in today. Now that I have all the stuff I need for the 4" front drop, I can get crackin on it this weekend. I'll post pics. I also added a MISC page, for random stuff.
***UPDATE 2/9/06***
My DJM 2" drop spindles came today in the mail. Very nice pieces that will be installed this weekend. I alreayd notched one LCA, the other wlll be notched tomorrow. I put up pics on the drop page.
Also, I removed the chrome fender trim and rolled the front 2 fenders. Looks much better now.

Finally got around to notching the damn frame. Now that I bought that angle grinder, I can do it at my house, instead of trying to borrow one. It worked out perfectly. The ride is as smooth as if it weren't dropped. No more bottoming out and no back problems! Pics are up, too!
***UPDATE 1/24/06***
Have had the flip kit on for a few weeks. Now I have to notch the frame. To do that I bought a new angle grinder. It's got some good features on it. And it only ran me $25 at the hardware store. They had a nice sale going on. Here are some pics of it.
***UPDATE 12/31/05***
I have had my new amp installed for a few days now and it kicks ass. Also I put 1.5 pounds or so of PolyFill inside my box. I think it really helped out. Sounds deeper to everyone that has heard it so far.
And also, I put a 2.5%, 11 inch eyebrow on my windshield. The sun was too much a few days ago and I couldnt stand using the sunvisors anymore, simply b/c I can't see through them. I have got one pic, but its at night. It's not the clearest but I'll get some more up soon.
***UPDATE 12/17/05***
Just got back from Savannah, GA and got a new tat while I was there. Not truck related, I know, but here are some pics!
***UPDATE 11/22/05***
I just got my window tint redone. It was previously about 20% and I removed it. I laid 2.5% on the rear glass and 5% on the driver and passenger side windows. It's DARK as hell! Lots of privacy now and you cannot see in even during the brightest time of day. I'll try to have pics up soon!
Window Tint
2.5% limo w/ a metallic coat (windshield)
5% limo w/ a metallic coat (passenger's side)
5% limo w/ a metallic coat (driver's side)
2.5% limo w/ a metallic coat (rear window)
And an up close driver side shot.
The most recent shots.
Got new tires! Very nice tires and only $400 bucks for 4 new tires, mount, balance and alignment!
