Number 60 of less than 200 North American versions of 850 CSi.  These are MotorSport tuned versions of the 850 known as the M8 in Europe. These cars have an additional 0.6 liter displacement over the base Ci model which results in an additonal 80 hp, the Dinan Chip Set adds 23 additional horses. The suspension is lowered and tuned by the BMW Motorsports Division. The cars also have special ground effects  developed by the M division.

Only 225 North American Spec 850 CSi were imported to the US during the two years of availability between '94 an '95. There are currently less than 200 of these cars remaining.
