Hi everyone! My names Daniel, but this car belongs to my neighbor Graham. My sisters boyfriend, Sam, Graham and Myself took the hammers and sanders and paint to this rarer old school Holden and in 2 weekends turned it back into a truly appreciated Classic car.

These EK's and their conterpart the FB Holden are the Aussie version of the '57 Chevy.

Colly_Dog's 1962 Holden PremierLucky for us Graham is only the third owner of "Betsy" so its been looked after, BUT, the car was built in 1962 and any car that age is going to have some little hidden surprises.
Colly_Dog's 1962 Holden PremierAs you can see thses cars are representatives of a different era.
Colly_Dog's 1962 Holden PremierGraham has done a lot to the car already such as rubuilding the motor, suspension, brakes, new carpet etc.etc.
Colly_Dog's 1962 Holden PremierBack in their day, young blokes used to race these cars on the streets and highways all over Australia.

Click on page 8 if you want to skip to the final product!! And please vote for me!! Below is a photo of the finished product, but we are still looking for some of the original crome peices like crome stripes down the side and a piece that sits on the middle of the hood.

I love the repair work, beautiful paintjob. Is that 2k or Acrylic that you used? Really brought that EK back to its former glory. Keep up the good work!
