1947 Dodge pro street pickup
440 .030 over, ported, polished & balanced, Kept cool by a Howe Racing aluminum radiator with twin be-cool electric fans. The motor inhales through a polished 871 BDS blower fed by matched 650 Holley carbs.
This monster exhales through a set of custom built headers, into a complete custom built aluminized 3 1/2" exhaust system. All 650 plus ponies dance past the 3000 stall B&M torque converter into a 727 automatic with a B&M valve body and Quicksilver shifter. The rubber meets the road through a custom stainless covered 4 link to a ford 9" with 411 gears and a pair of monster 33x19.5 mickeys.
Running the custom built hydraulic tilt bed up and down to show the stainless steel box floor and finished boxed frame while crusing downtown always gets attention too.
This truck is a blast to drive both on the strip and on the street.
