Here is the 1/2 ton 1971 Cheyenne Super w/factory 402 Big Block I owned in 1987-88. I bought it from the original owner for $2500 and it was completely original with only 93,000 actual miles. For all you keen eyed people that sees non-originally installed items...well... I was only 21 years old at the time and didn't realize what damages I was doing to a "survivor" when it came down to originality. When I bought it back in 87, the original owner told me the paint was factory and I know it hasn't been painted since I sold it. At the moment, this truck needs to be restored as time is taking it's toll since it hasn't been garaged since I bought it...back in 1987. The guy I sold the truck to (in 88) still ownes it today. I had the opportunity to do some repair work on it on 8-20-2005. This gave me a chance to take some pictures and share them with you. Hope you enjoy them!
NOTE: The first picture below is a truck that has been COMPLETELY restored! It is not the truck that this site is about. I put it on here because I thought it would nice to see what my truck would look like if it was restored. Please refer to page 7 for more pictures of the restored truck...absolute BEAUTY!
