cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude I have been saying for years that I was going to get my car painted. Well I finally did it. Just the basic Honda black, no metallic.

cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude Danny at Universal Auto Body did the work. His shop is very small and may not look like a quality place, but the quality of work is outstanding.

cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude I do have the side markers. I have to take the car back for some touch up work. I was rushing Danny to finish the car, and it was getting late. Once everthing is final I will put the side markers in.

cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude Its been about a year since the repaint. I am still very pleased with the results, but anyone who has a black car knows what a chore it to keep the paint in good condition.

cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude This picture came out a little blurry. I was trying for a better picture.

cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude I got a good deal on the VTEC sub bracket and a Kicker free air 6x9 sub. The smaller sub is taking some getting use too. I had a 12" in the back before. It was over kill, but still going from a 12" to a 6x9 is a little drastic. I do enjoy the extra room in the trunk though.

cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude Just a close up of the weave on the Seibon hood. The quality of the weave is great. The fitments could be a little better, but it is not horrible.

cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude At first I wanted to paint the entire hood black. Somewhere along the way I came around. I decided to go with the black across to the bottom so the carbon fiber would be anchored. I have seen other hoods with just the sides painted and I did not like that look. It look like the carbon fiber was just hanging. I understand everyone may not like my hood and that is ok. It is taken myself some getting use too as well.

cifer6425's 1994 Honda Prelude I am back to thinking maybe I should paint the hood black. When shipping the car from Hawaii to the mainland, the paint was scratch. So I could get the hood repainted then.

Speaking of clean and nice, your Prelude is too; thanks for the comments, i like what you've done with the brake upgrade and five lug conversion, smooth tweeter install and engine swap with the JDM one piece headlights up front, all way thumbs up.
