gicantor2's 1987 Ford Mustang

This is my 1987 5.0 mustang which I have owned for almost 4 years. I bought it when I was 16. I have done modifications to the interior, exterior and engine.

This is what the car looked like just a few weeks ago. But I bought the car with the full intention to one day rip it apart and rebuilded it from the ground up. And now that time has come.

This is what the car looks like today..........

UPDATES: 18/12/06
Finally pulled the motor and tranny out.

Tearing it down. This motor was due for a rebuild. You could move #4 and #8 pistons in the cylinder bores side to side and all the bearing were severely worn. Also the clutch was done and the flywheel is full of hairline cracks.

Now you can really see the rust on the strut tower. Now I'll move to the other shop and start the body work.

The future mods include a 347 stroker, TKO tranny, suspension, brakes, interior, soundsystem, fiberglass hatch, new paint, etc, etc.

Check in every once in a while cause there's alot more to come!

I'm far from finished! Lots of plans, not lots of money. Just doing as I can. I'll get there sooner or later.
