I LOVE MY EAGLE!!
This is my 1996 Eagle Vision ESI.
I Love the color of this car. The title says SPRUCE.
This is my travel car, it is great on long
trips and is very good on gas. It averages about 32mpg highway.
I have a few plans for her. The factory radio has issues, I can't hardly pick up any local radio stations. I am going to put a new head unit in, possibly an alpine. I think that is the best brand to buy. The Factory Rims are in ok shape but they could be replaced. Being that we are in the south, she has little to no rust on her.
It has The smaller engine, a 3.3-liter V6 with overhead valves which produces 161 hp then mated to Chrysler's electronically-controlled automatic 4-speed transmission
This car rides so smooth. I wish I had the auto stick version.
PROBLEMS WITH CAR
-Water pump replaced 15k
-Tie rods replaced after a incident with a large ditch.
-Cradle Brushings descentgrated.(this causes a clunking noise while cornering, among others) will replace soon.
-Transmission Fluid dissappears must add about every 6k miles
-New Tires, 2nd Set since 1996. TOYO SPECTRUM Touring Tires excellent quality.
-Center Rim caps keep disappearing. I will not replace them anymore.
-A/C compressor is louder than usual.
-Alloy Rims are begining to develop rust.
A Quality engineered vehicle by Chrysler.
Excellent Mint Condition for a 12 year old car.
