Finally after two years, she's back on the road. (Back to back deployments on the USS Enterprise will delay things.) Completely rebuilt stock motor with stock Weber two barrel, but added a few bolt ons. I deleted all emissions, which should add quite a bit of power. To get rid of the EGR, I installed a European XR2 intake manifold to mount the carb to, and on the exhaust side, the 4-2-1 header from the last page went on. It's fully welded from the collector straight into a Thrush muffler with no cat. Power uses the stock Ford Duraspark box, but has a MSD Blaster 2F coil through 8.5MM plug wires into NGK Iridium plugs.

On the suspension side, it was all completely redone. I put new Powerflex urethane tie bar and control arm bushings, a new steering rack with tie rod ends, and ball joints. KYB GR-2 strut in front and new shocks in back dropped into the original lowering springs. Then Addco front and rear sway bars were bolted on. I wrapped the rims with 195/50R15 Nitto NT450's. I also used a tubular panhard bar from another Fiesta to replace the stamped U-Shaped one that was there before. It's a lot faster, and feels a lot tighter. I'll hopefully get some pics up soon of everything. It's good to have it back on the road. The stares and snickers are beginning already.
