Well, I got those GSD3 tires on, and man do they hook!

UPDATE: Got the eagle f1 gs d3 rear rubber sittin here, just waitin for the fronts to show up from Florida. Got the last two 275/35/zr18 tires left in the country. So, very soon Ill be closer to puttin this power to the pavement. Next thing to get spit out of the car will be the rear.... ;*(

The tires are on, and I have an orgasm every time I look at the rubber... see for yourself!

The screen pieces were made by first taking a larger piece of paper, laying it over a nose port and rubbing with the side of a crayon to get an accurate outline. The edge on the end, at the tip of the nose isn't clearly defined, so ya gotta draw in a curve that'll look good and allow the aluminum sheet (you'll trace onto and cut out) to sit flat. Once you have an outline, cut out the paper sheet and position it on the nose to check the fit. When that's good, lay it on the aluminum and trace it. Take a good set of sheet metal shears and cut out the piece. Flip the paper, trace and cut the other side. Edging is 5/32" vacuum tubing, split along one side, then installed around the edge of the piece and cut when you made it all the way around. The piece is mounted with L brackets on the ends nearer the headlights. The aluminum is available on Ebay. It's 1/16" thick. Search "grille custom thick" and you'll probably find the stuff.

I was told that a 3rd gen TA aluminum driveshaft was a fit for my 3.4. I'm keen on the whole rotational mass thing, can't do the twist like I did when I was younger... body just keeps wanting to spin in the same direction a bit more than I remember, lol. Also wouldn't mind getting an aluminum crank pulley, that would shave a lot of mass from the driveline too.

Really though, if I did nothing with the engine or drivetrain, I'd be allright with that. Some joker in a Nissan Pulsar NX tried me off the line yesterday. He gave up after a hundred feet or so, it was obvious he was going to embarass himself. Sometimes it's easy to tell the other guy dosen't have a chance...
