.......SOLD.......SOLD.......SOLD.......SOLD.......SOLD.......SOLD.......SOLD.......SOLD.......SOLD.......SOLD.......

This car has now been SOLD (12/7/2006) with only 62,500 miles on the clock!!! The car had just been fitted with a new hood and back window, and with only 2 previous owners before I bought it in March 1993.

Please sign my guestbook with your thoughts and also
Please visit my son's page and sign his guestbook of his amazingly HOT Golf - nicest rims I have ever seen on a car - wish mine where that shinny (they nearly are since i polished them)!!! his page is http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/756598

This is a 911 SSE Cabrio. Which means its a 911 Carrera that is exactly the same as the 911 Turbo, but without the turbo engine. All the running gear and brake discs etc. are turbo stuff, making the car as good (well slightly slower) as the turbo and better (more reliable). It also has a wonderful bit of body kit on it - don't know a make for it as it was there when I bought the car. Its finest trick up its sleeve has got to be the noise though!!!!! Does anyone know if you can put sound clips on the page???

One other thing - the car is actually Guards Red - not orange like some of the pics seem to look!!!

Here she is:

Actually had some nice hot sunny weather - a good opportuninty to get the top down!!! (The back drivers side of the car looks a bit in the air cause the rear passenger side had the wheel off for polishing and it was jacked up - the car looks like its flying - lol)

Just need to paint up the logos on the centre of the alloys now.

I have now painted them (few days later), and here they are, also I bought some stuff to make the black extra shiny - the car looks like new now!!!

When I took the wheels of to polish them I was reminded of these amazingly good looking discs and callipers!!!

Heres a few pics of the engine from under the car - the pics are not to good as they were difficult to do!!!

As you can see here, this car is pretty low - and can be scary over some of the stupidly big speed bumps they have here in the U.K.

The reason the car was sold (and my wife's 928) is because I have just bought a 996 turbo, shown here:
http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2191254

When i went for a test drive in one (the yellow one pictured here) it had a 480bhp RUF upgrade. It was absolutely amazing speed and g force. WOW. astonishing was the only way to describe it - 0 - 60 in 3.9 and 204 mph top speed.

I'm voting for the 959. considering a toned down version of the early 80s model was just deamed streat legal in the US. God damn i love you porsche
