CURRENT NEWS

UPDATE: OCTOBER 16/2008

It has been way to long since I have updated my page.  Things are slowly coming along still as My builder took there sweet time getting me my concrete for my garage.  It is currently being built now.  So as soon as I get the solid axle swap done on my Sportage, I will be turning my attentions to my car full force and begining all of my body work.

I did how ever manage to get a few things done this past summer and have been driving the car all summer long, I missed her so much.

The 19" KONIG SIDEWAYS wheels are mounted with there PIRRELLI PZERO tires.  I managed to make some better temporary mounting brackets for the bumpers, as well as finally managed to mount the side skirts.

The biggest modification that was completed this summer was the rear disk conversion using SRT-4 rear disks and calipers.  They grab plenty hard and pull the car to a quick stop.  I plan on running a big brake set up in the front of the car now to help bring the proportioning back up towards the front of the car.  It is a little bit back heavy with the SRT-4 rotors actually being a touch bigger than the stock fronts.  Not to mention the big brakes will also look much nicer behind those big open 19's!

Let me know what you think

UPDATE: FEBRUARY 17/2007

Well, not much new here. I have moved the car to my new house, and in the process of being towed the rear bumper was destroyed by the negligent tow truck driver. So i guess that is another thing to add to the list!!! Will hopefully be able to start working on the car much more after the garage is built this spring.

UPDATE: JULY 9/2006

Have been trying to work on the car as much as I can. I am going today to rip out the seats and harness's, so that I can work on the new e-brake set up. Once the carpet is out, I can also start doing the sound deadening in the front of the car. Just waiting to have my rear brake caliper brackets machined so that I can start putting that all together. I will hopefully have some pictures up on that in the next while.

UPDATE: JUNE 25/2006

Posted a picture up in the tail light section and updated the info on the side bar. Working on getting some of the body work done. I am also just waiting for all my brake parts to come in, so that I can do my conversion.

UPDATE: JUNE 18/2006

So excited, my rims are here. I only have the fronts on as I ripped the backend apart to get ready for my rear disk conversion. The rims I got are Konig Sideways 19 x 8, with Pirelli PZERO NERO 215/35ZR19 tires. Car is now up on jackstands for a while. I started to repair some of the spot rust that started to show on the rockers and rear quarters. Once this is done, I can continue work on the body kit.

UPDATE: JUNE 11/2006

Well it has been way to long without a computer. But that has been fixed! I plan on rebuilding this site to keeep updated the progress of my car. It is very much under construction at the moment, but coming along.
Here is a quick run down of the progress:
-Bodykit is almost finished.
-Wheels will be here next week.
-Full air ride suspension completed.(I dont know what i was thinking when i said before i wanted the car 5-6" off the ground!) Full drop I only have 1/2" to 3/4" clearance to the side skirts!
-Racing sets and retractable harnesses installed.
-New doors and body work coming soon.
-Complete custom back end to begin soon.
-European spec BMW projector headlights and turn signals installed.

That is all for now, but much more to come.
