I bought her in January of 2004. She only had 4300 miles on her, and already had several dealer upgrades - the OEM ground effects body kit, premium chrome Type S wheels, the rear spoiler, and the blackwood trim (including the steering wheel). Though apparently, it was missing the floor mats and a full set of keys; go figure. My first investments into my car were to rectify that... got the Acura floor mats, and a full set of keys (instead of the single key I had been given). I also tinted the windows (35% in the front, 20% in the back), and bought a custom Acura cover for it.
After about a year or so, I was itching to do more modification to it... with my first thoughts towards better/bigger wheels and tires. I ended up upgrading my stock Type S 17" wheels to 19" wheels. I got Foose Speedster rims inside of some nice 235/35 R19 Falken tires.

Of course, after I did that, I had to lower it, in order to get the look I was going for. So, I installed Eibach Pro Kit springs.

While that didn't seem like much... it got me started... and I've been hooked ever since. :-)
My next modifications were to install an Injen Cold Air Intake and an Apexi WSII cat-back exhaust system, an Erebuni rear window spoiler, and an OEM sunroof wind deflector.

Then I installed Unorthodox Racing Ultra SS Pulley Kit, DC headers, Rotora rotors (slotted and drilled), Hawk pads, and SS brake lines (couldn't afford a big brake kit).
I also debadged most of the rear (leaving the Acura symbol and the "Type S."

Even after all of that I still wanted to do more. I also installed a GrilleTech grill, flipped my license plate below my bumper, and installed a complete blackwood dash trim throughout the interior.

Most recently, I completely upgraded the whole suspension... both shocks and springs (instead of just the springs like before). I took out the Eibach Pro-Kit springs (let me know if you're interested in buying them), and the stock shocks, replacing them with the Tein SS Damper coilovers, w/pillowball mounts, and EDFC (inside my glove box). I have the ride height approximately the same as I did before, maybe slightly lower; but the damper control and suspension travel is much better than before, which is a huge improvement, especially on the roads here in southern California. I also put in an Eibach Sway bar kit (front and rear). So, now she rides on rails and handles beautifully. I've also been through a few sets of tires since then... Falkens, Nankangs, and now I have Nitto 555s in the front and Falkens in the back.
What's next? Good question... any ideas? I think I've done a lot of what is possible with this car without getting too "crazy" with it, though I haven't done much with the interior besides the wood dash trim kit. I don't mind that because I like it the way she is, very classy; I also don't want to give up having the 6 disc in-dash cd changer for some aftermarket unit. I may try to get some blue illuminated door sills, and some aftermarket pedals, but we'll see. Hope you enjoyed reading about my girl. For more pictures, check out My Website.
