SpiritDragon 1992 MITSUBISHI 3000GT VR-4 My Work in Progress
My VR-4 had seen better days before I bought it in Wyoming with a blown engine. While attending WYOTECH in Laramie, I found this car at a " buy here pay here" lot and walked away with the car for a little less than $700 bucks. What a steal! Well, not exactly. See, I was heading out to Wyoming and bought a truck in EXCELLENT shape for $180bucks! ( Honestly, worth more than 180.00 bucks.) Anyways, I find this green VR4 sitting on a lot of six cars. I go in. Talk a bit. Trade in the $180.00 truck, that I had done repairs to while attending Wyotech, for $2000.00. They had a for sale sign in the worn out 3000GT asking $8000.00. Minus the 2k for the truck makes it $6000.00, then for shits and giggles, they knock off another 2 grand. Making it a four thousand dollar purchase. All said and done. Right? Wrong. See the deal ended that I would pay "x" amount of dollars before delivery of the car. Not a bad deal since I had a $10.00/hr job making OT. About a week before delivery, I get the call. We were DETAILING the car and it STALLED out. We wanna purchase you another car. WE KNOW A GUY WHO WANTS TO BUY THIS ONE. I said, " No, I want it still we'll work out the price." Knowing full well what may have happened. 1. Timing skipped gears and bent valves. MAYBE. 2. The GUY, interested in the broke down piece of Mitsubishi, in fact, BROKE THE MITSUBISHI. I get the car, title and a new purchase agreement the day I towed the car. Get it up on the lift. Pull the oil pan. Shrapnel. Bingo. You guessed it. All works out to be a $700Dollar 1992 3000GT VR4!
Are you still with me? wink! wink!
So since 2002 I have bought everything from a JDM engine, that is getting a little bit of a rebuild, and a few accessories added, a body kit, exhaust, maybe 2nd gen 17's because I don't wanna mess with the suspension just yet, and starting a few custom projects in an attempt to get my shop off the ground.

I bought/buying most of my aftermarket items from Ben at HorsePowerFreaks.com
Well, It has been a while since I have had time to update this page. I'll be editing it over the next few days. But I'll bring those interested up to date with my projects.
My husband and I finished the motor work and I dumped five grand into her to add a little extra horse power. Not that I race, but I get thrills out of going fast when I want to. ( Not that I won't try to burn you at a red light! ) So anyways, I ended up buying a poor old beat to shit Dodge Stealth the same year as my Vr-4 and have been trying to repair the major body damage sustained by a 16yo kid who thought he was a racer. ( If you see pics of the thing, soon, I bet he raced into the shit he hit with the dodge) So I have decided to leave the VR4 in stock body and add the body kit to the dodge to dress him up a bit. His ragged old interior is shot and I'm currently driving it while my husband and I make a frame for my nissan pathfiner. I have finished several motorcycles and about finished with my mother in laws 240sx convertible. I have the bumpers and a few accessories to finish painting, button her up and she's on the road this summer (2008). So as you can see I've skipped around on my projects so as not to get bored, but it also helps to step back and take it all in and make sure you have what you want. I'll add some pics of my current works and update the other pics soon. Things have been crazy hectic and I've about got my shop up and going, if not just a web site a friend is developing for me. And not only has the career taken off, but I had an addition to my family with my daughter being born a year ago, so as you can imagine it took time away from things. But now, it's time to buckle down and motivate all these ideas and such going on in my nugget. Thank you for checking out my ride, my work and reading the ramblings of a mad painter....haha. Hope you still like what you see and all...feel free to email me with any thoughts or suggestions.
