Hi all. This is my second Civic. My last was a 1993 4dr LX. I love the Si. I've always liked the Hatches but this one has some really nice lines on it. Alot of ppl are saying that we are missing out on the HP and Vtec of the other K-Series motors. But this is likely the last Honda Civic Hatchback (other than the fit which is more like the Si's little brother) and I haven't seen any concepts for a new one, much less an Si version. I love this car. The hatches are unqiue and can be just as fast as the RSXs and new Si's with some work, not to mention the HB is lighter. You dont see many 02-05 Si's in shows now do you. That's a good thing. It means parts and such are still coming out for the car and also that ppl are still coming up with wicked setups that have not been shown yet. The K-Series is still a realitively new motor compared to the many years ppl have spent working on the B and D Series motors. i think the Si is an awesome platform for all tuners. Performance - 2.0 I-Vtec. Even tho it's only on the intake side. You gotta admit, its still a nice motor and turbo works nicely with it becuase of lower compression than the other k-series motors. Also the stance of the car is very low. Hatchbacks have always been low and the "egg" shaped Si has great aerodynamics and the same suspension as the RSX Type-S and from what I've heard is better when lowered with some new tires rather than the Stockies. Show - The lines on this car are amazing. While keeping a resemblance to the past EG and EK hatches, the EP looks fanominal with minimal exterior modifications. From the factory with the Honda Body Kit, the car is already show ready. Also the wheel wells are worthy of brandishing up to 18" wheels. And last but not least Audio. The hatchback has an ass load of room, espeially if you take out the back seats! With that much room you could give Trucks a run for they're money in the SPL Competitions. Overall this car has massive potential and I intend to use it, lol.
