^My beloved 93 Toyota Paseo, AKA, Cheap Bastard. This is second car (my first, an 87 Maxima wagon met an untimely death...anyone ever rolled a station wagon?), and the first car with which I became interested in the import mod scene. Unfortunately when I bought it I didn't realize a.) that I was interested therein, or b.) that there exists virtually no aftermarket support for this car. In addition, I am cheap. There is no other way to put it. Everything in this car is either a universal part (most purchased off of eBay) or something I did on my own. I haven't done hardly anything to the engine, and I need to redo some of the upholstery, but other than that it is a reliable, fuel efficient, and most importantly, fun car that has kept me occupied.

^Here is when I smoothed out all of body lines and repainted it. It took nearly a week of solid work to get it all done, but in the end I think it was worth it. I think I got in a little over my head for my first time painting my car and doing body work, but I think I did well.
^Here is my center console, shifter, and e-brake. The transmission is an automatic (unfortunately), but I couldn't find any shift knobs to fit it because of its oval shape, so I took out most of the stock shifter and built my own which I made shorter and without any stops. I then covered it and the e-brake with matching covers I got off of e-Bay. The e-brake was even a pain. I had to grind away the plastic cover that was molded to the steel lever in order for the cover to fit.
^ Here is my control panel close up. Right now I have an overdrive disable switch, LED controller, and selectable ITS chip on it, with room to later mount more controls when the need should arise. My CD player is an older Jensen flip face unit running about 200 watts.
^ Here are my woofers mounted behind the folding rear seats. They are each 200 watt Pyramid 10"s powered by a 240 watt 2 channel legacy amp. The trunk works ok as a box, but I'm currently 70% done with a box I'm building for them that will fit in the trunk. Should have those pics up soon. The stock 6.5's that came with the car I removed and sealed the holes thereof. I am planning to build a panel for my "C" pillars to hold two 6.5's on each side, time permitting. I have a pair of 2-stage 180 watt legacy 4's in my doors, with .5 inch dome tweeters coming soon in the "A" pillars.
^ Here are my front seats with white fabric cut and stitched to fit where the grey used to be. I used spray adhesive to keep them in place, and I have had virtually no problems with the adhesive letting go. Barely visible are the rear seats Where I have done the same. My armrests, door handles, window rollers, etc. are also accented in white.
^ Here are the vinyl graphics I had custom cut for my by a local sign shop. I installed them myself. I used to have a large white dragon on the side, but took it off when I painted the car. Also pictured are my LED's which I got off e-Bay and installed myself. In addition, the car is lowered 2.25 rear and 1.75 front and the springs are much more firm than stock. Gives the car a nice ride on good roads.
I have a few more things I'll list when I get pictures, and a lot more planned for this car. *last updated: 8-19-2005
