1995 Chevrolet Astro CL

This page is dedicated to what I consider my half-car. When I got the Astro I already have had the Camaro for a few months. Then one of my dads friends retired and was selling this thing. He gave it to us for a great deal lol $600. This thing had 251,000 miles on it when we bought it. I wanted the van so I could haul ALL of my friends around because my Camaro was definitely able to do that. I soon learned what it could do...I noticed that the van needed shocks really bad and it lurched back when I floored it. I had the idea to put it in first gear and hit the gas; therefore creating the van to lurched back even harder. So when the van lurched back and was about to come back, I hit the gas again, then repeating until the front tires got off the ground. I ended up being able to go down the street and get the front two tires off the ground with about a foot and a half clearance. Then my Camaro was sold and I was stuck driving the van around for a couple of weeks, until I got my Catera. The Astro was traded in for $900 for the Cadillac?s price.
