Front and rear poly swaybar bushings (still need to install the rear end links and also possibly switch out the spacers on the front end links)

TDS wonderbar (Lon at TDS rules !! Very helpful, very fast delivery, tracks the order, tracks the delivery, good prices)

January 17th 2006

Installed modified TBI.

However no change to air cleaner, which has the restrictive spacer ring inside, once I get the ramair going plus get a VFPR it should show.

January 18th 2006

Installed Iroc grill, now I need fog or driving lights, plus blacken the sheetmetal just before the radiator.

Removed backseat, including seatbelt assemblies.

January 24th 2006

Installed 4 inch Infinity Reference speakers. Had to make custom adapters, made out of wood, in order to mount 4 inch in 4x6 factory slots.

February 2nd 2006

Finally installed the rear end links, nice, Energy Suspension ones. Now my front needs some additional stiffness, the spacers on the front end links may be too short or too long.

February 12th 2006

Installed Thrush Magnum muffler, manufactured front and rear hangers.

I used a piece of old exhaust tubing, that was bent, and did a slant cut o nthe end of it, clamped it on the end of the glasspack so I now have an exchaust tip aiming the exhaust gases down towards the road.

Impression so far ? Only took it for a short ride, remember my engine is almost 100 percent stock, the Ultimate TBI mod and fuel injector spacer won't make it any louder. But I like it, it's deep but not as open and loud as without any muffler after the cat.

February 14th 2006

Installed manual fan switch. Now I can turn the fan on/off without relying on the A/C controls. Still trying to figure out some minor problems with hooking up a LED to the switch.

February 25th 2006

Open Air element installed. Next step will be hood scoop.

February 26th 2006

Aftermarket driving lights (five bucks at the auto swap meet) installed. Pretty darn bright, real nice.

October 24th 2006

It's been FOREVER since I updated this page. Old stock hood is back on for now, before I finish my ram air hood, I'll throw on yet another hood I found at the junkyards, a factory fiberglass Z28 hood (only made in '83 I believe).

I had some serious electrical problems, solution was disconnect the amplifier (no music for a while), and disconnect the battery when parked for longer periods of time.

Next step became bying an Optima Yellow D34/78 deep cycle battery, upgrade the alternator to battery cable (4ga), battery to ground (4ga),. What I have left to do is adding one or two engine to chassis/body ground cables (4ga) and installing the 140A CS144 alternator I got at the junkyard.

Passed smog today, very happy about it, my exhaust right now is cat converter, intermediate pipe with Thrush Magnum muffler on the middle of the pipe. I did loose some sound that way, little bit less rumble, more quiet than before.

Next will be installing Z28 hood, black Berlinetta door panels, WS6 front and back springs, WS6 front (36) and rear (24) swaybars.

November 8th, 2006

I've been busy sanding, repairing, finishing up the Z28 hood. Hopefully I'll be able to put it on the car sometime this weekend, or middle of next week.

November 23rd, 2006

Z28 hood is on the car, see page for details

November 3rd, 2008

I'm on vacation in Europe, haven't updated my page in ages. Done so far is, several things:

3.42 LS1 rear end installed, almost completely
