This Canadian B10 is owned by Kent yung, in richmond Bc. The previous owner aquired this B10 two door in the summer of 1999 as a trade for his spare computer to a friend. This left hand drive B10 is a 1970 model. It seems theprevious owner had carried out a large amount of body work and applied several paint jobs. The orginal colour was once blue , gray and now red. As you can see from the pictures below this B10 was a pretty miserable looking car to start with.

You can see the parts car on the top left corner

The motor was swaped from the diminutive A10 for a A15 complete with high compression pistons and cams.As the overall size of the A15 is nearly the same as as an A10, the conversion was relatively reasy, however, that's not to say its'a all plain sailing. It was soon discoverd the diffrence in the position of the engine mount and fule pump position between A10 and A15. To cure the first problem of the mountings , extended engine mounts on the crossmember were made and took off the orginal mechanical fule pump from engine and installed a electric fule pump. This became necesary due to the new extended engine mounts otherwise the pump would hit it.

At present the car still retains the orginal A10 radiator due to it's small size, Cooling is marginal in the summer when stuck in traffic. Plans are to replace this with a radiator with an Mg radiator. The Mg radiator is almost the same size so it will fit with no problem. It is common for many B10 owneds in Japan to replace their orginal B10 Carburetor with Solex or Jeihin twin carbs. This path was attempted to follow only to discover thatSolex and other twin side draught/draft carbs cannot be installed in a LHD car due to the position of the brake master cylinder. The from frum brakes were converted to a master cylinder from a suzuki swift, which is wat hinders teh install of the side draft.
In Canada, like in the Uk, B10's car very scarce. (13 known examples in Uk unknown under in Can) We were lucky enought to find 2 wreaked cars to donate some parts to. In 2000 another B10 was found in a Junk yard, however it was too incomplete and rusted to save and restore.
