**I am warning everyone that i have a lot of trouble logging onto my page, this is the first time it has let me on in a few months, so i will try to update it and log on frequently but i apologize if i dont.**

This is my 2000 mounty, i absolutely love this car, got it when i was 16. I got it summer of 2003 used with only 33,000 miles, an elderly couple owned it first. I began working on it slowly winter 2003 with eurolights. Most of the time it is on road, but dont think i'm one of those guys that builds up his truck to look good cuz thats definitely not me. Any chance i get i take it offroading, even if its only in a dirt lot in the busiest part of town (very illegal, i learned the hard way) and i really push the limits of my truck, but its been reliable and capable and it hasn't failed me yet. I even get through obstacles that my friends 4wd cherokee doesn't make it through and then i have to help him out.

UPDATE:: So last week i noticed my brand new exhaust tip was dented on top and the whole system was hanging lower than normal so i got under the car and noticed that the two bolts connecting it had no nuts on them, so it was just dangling there barely by the one hanger, so i took it off and drove home without exhaust for two hours(sooo loud)because I am certain that if i didnt take it off right then it would have fallen off on the way home, so i bought all new hardware (I also bought the clear turn signal light bulbs for 5 bucks)and reinstalled it but it took my like two hours because everytime i screwed on one nut the nut on the other side would pop off so it took forever, but to get it back on i disconnected the sway bar endlink where it connects to the frame and it was impossible to reconnect it because the suspension was holding the weight of the truck so the bolt wouldnt correctly line up with the threads in the hole so i took it to the dealer the next morning and 40 dollars later it was all good as new.
My parents are being asses also and wont let me put any more money into my truck because i just earned a bunch from working this summer and i have to save it all for college, they wont even let me do the little things like the stripe or gauges or the emblems.

Mods so far:
Explorer ProComp 3" spindle lift
Add-a-leaf
31" x 10.50" BFG M/Ts
15"x8" black rockcrawler wheels
Mac Performance exhaust
K&N air filter
Clear corners with clear signal bulbs
Eurolights
removed running boards
...and most importantly, some scratches and minor body damage from offroading (it ads character)

Wishlist (little things):
paint grill same as body color
remove moldings
5.0 liter mustang emblems
harley davidson flame stripe(same green as bottom color)
reverse indiglo gauges
headunit
Sylvania silverstar headlight bulbs
tow hooks

(big things):
powerslot front brake rotors and new pads all around
2" torsion twist and shackles OR 2" bodylift
and with the 2" additional lift would come 33x12.50" ProComp Xterrains
Mac Performance intake
light bar with offroad lights
fullsize spare and rim on fabtech carrier (placed in trunk)
fiberglass front fenders

One day i would love to do a SAS with front and rear lockers and SOA in rear and the whole big deal, i want 4wd so bad, but for now im happy.

autobuff1's 2000 Mercury MountaineerJust after a bath. In this picture it looks lower than it actually is, bad angle. That's right, those are clear corners for a mountaineer.

autobuff1's 2000 Mercury MountaineerYou can barely see my 1-month-old Mac performance exhaust system, loud as hell.

autobuff1's 2000 Mercury MountaineerThe license plate cover says "Four Wheeler, No pavement no problem"
