Here is a pick of the engine and the bottom of the car after fitting the motor.. before any bodywork. The Flaming river colume came in the other day.. so of course I had to see what it looked like.. getting the engine togather is great.. I'm really starting to like the blue more and more (Blue black and Aluminum Is what I'm going to stick with on the home car).
When I got the car the floor boards were shot so I had to start there.. later I wanted to ad a bigger tire in the rear.. so I installed the mopar relocator kist and reused the existing wheel wells. What a job that was making sure the suspension was still straight in the rear. I was going to rarrow the rear axle, that way I could have a deeper dish rim, but it was to much money.. and wanted to spend in other parts of the car. Before I got any rims I was trying different things I started with the Dodge Dakota R/T rims in a 20" because I had the rims for my old 98 Dakota build up. But 20" wheels were a bit big I thought.
