This is my peugeot 1999 306 meridian project. I want the clean, pimped out fast car look of the GTI6. A previous owner has started the mods by putting on the newest shape 306 bumper.

Its only a tiny 1.4 engine. I deliver pizzas so it perfect (Lots of MPG). I wouldnt have normally gone for a 5 door but i bought the car for ?1500 (an absolute bargain). My plans are to stick on some sideskirts to bring it up to date. Then I plan on lowering the car on either 15 or 16's. The side repeaters need changing possibly along with the rear lights. I definately have to stick the fattest exhaust available on the rear. Also I have big plans for a kick ass matching sound system (something to join the exhaust in wakeing up the neighbours).

On the image it shows my car has a GTI6 badge attached. That is coming straight off and is being replaced by the meridian logo. It was left on by the previous owner.

Eventually I need to get out the toolbench and stick an MDF setup in the boot (who needs boot space?). For a 1.4 the car is quite quick. It sails smoothly over 100 and is excellent for racing around town. I need to stick in an induction kit to give it that extra kick up the ass.

The interior needs a few adjustments. I am about to install some 13cm sony XS-A1327 speakers so i will go completely with sony (HEAD UNIT, 6-9's, 2 SUBs and an AMP). Some tacky metal pedals and maybe see if i can find any bits and bobs in halfords.

Below are the O.Z Hydra wheels I will probably stick on the car.

Keep posted for future progress. If you have any suggestions or just want to bitch about me or my car please sign my guestbook. Cheers.

Thank's for the comment :-) likein your pug, the induction kit makes the car accelerate quicker, I think you get around 5-10bhp extra with the kit, oh and the car sounds wicked when u put your foot down on the gas, its worth buyin one, when you get it fitted jus get the fuel/air mixture checked by a garage to cause you could end up lossin power then gainin, it dont cost muchto get it checked, sometimes they'll do it for free:-). hope this helped

Nice man, definitely cool. One thing though: dont get a huge tip, just replace your current muffler with the smallest one you can get somone to fit! That will give it the 'hot tuner' sound, as opposed to the 'try-hard street racer' sound. Keep up the mods man!
