This is my 1995 Chevy Beretta. I bought it in June of 2001 with 149,000 miles on it. It now has 282,000 miles and runs like a champ. I got around to fixing my leaking windshield, but now its starting to leak again so I'll have to take care of that when I get a chance. I love this car and I will do whatever I can to keep her running. I have alot in store for her. I'd like to eventually tear this completely down and give it a new 3100, new paint, maybe some new 17's and a lot of suspension modifications. She means the world to me. She may be getting ripped apart in a short time if I get my way.
Here is what she looked like this past winter. It was crazy here with all of the snow we got.
This is the result of getting dumped with 13 inches of fresh snow.
I had just got a new camera & tried out the timer. It takes a lot better pictures than the other one did.
Here is a side view with my clear sidemarkers. The car looks so much better without the JEGS decals. No sense of having them if the only thing I have from JEGS is the blue back up lights.
I always try to get pictures that are kind of cool. It turned out a little darker than I thought it would.
Here is a front under hood shot. The paint really shines when its waxed. Not bad for a 13 year old car. I'm thinking of wetsanding the car down and buffing it to make it shine like new, but we'll see.
My tires and wheels with red calipers and my painted red drums. I think I may paint them black soon. I painted them red to go with the colored tread on the tires.
Here is a closeup of my sidemarkers. I have Xenon blue bulbs in them. They look pretty good at night.
Here are a couple pictures towards dusk right after a good wash. I love black when its clean.
This is one of the better pictures of it. The white bar at the bottom of the fascia is one of my old neons, before they got ripped off.
This is one of my favorite pictures of the Beretta. If it was a little closer it would look awesome. I had just gotten my wheels here.
This is from the fall of 2004 when I rear ended a stopped car at a green light and now when its fixed. I did all of the work myself. I still have to adjust the headlights though. I am thinking of installing E36 headlights in shortly from a BMW. They fit almost the same as the stock lights, a little bit of cutting is required though.
This is just after I had got new window tint towards dark. That was taken in 2003 so I may get them re-tinted soon.
The first wax of the year. I hadn't waxed it for about a year because its been sitting since then. Its kind of dusty though.
Thats my brother's old Sonoma with the Beretta. The truck sold and now he has a '94 Z26. It has a 3400 in it along with quite a few other modifications.
I just thought this picture was cool. The car was in the process of getting washed. I think it needs some Eibach's to lower its stance a little....
With almost 300,000 on her, she has been a very reliable vehicle. Its only a Beretta, but it has always been there for me as I was growing up so I have a special bond with it. I have big plans for her in the future. In the last 7 years, I've replaced:
-Heater core
-Intake & Head Gaskets
-Thermostat
-Water Pump & Temp. Sending Unit
-Trans. Cooler Lines
-Radiator
-Muffler
-Spark Plugs & Wires
-Brakes about 3 or 4 times
-Rebuilt front end after accident
-Tires (bought back in '01, still use them)--------Also bought summer tires and wheels
-Struts, shocks and springs that I have to install
Based on the fact that I bought the car for $3,250, I'd say I've gotten my money out of her.
Here is a list of modifications I've done:
Appearance:
Shorty Antenna
215/45/17 BF Goodrich Scorcher T/A Tires
17" American Racing Wheels
Keyless Entry with Alarm
Removable Sunroof
Beretta Z26 Solid Grill (need to paint & install)
