Introduction / Photos - 1st stage of Build
This is my baby... 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger... 318 V8, all original metal, all damage repairable, very light rust, and only 38,000 miles... Not too bad for $300!
Friend had it for a while but was too lazy to put any work into it. It was just breaking my heart seeing it sitting there, unloved, unappreciated, un-worked-on ;)... so i bought it from him for his asking price of $300
I'll get some better pictures of her soon... maybe some nice outside shots...
This is after my dad and I cleaned her all up and threw on a coat or two of cleaner polish. You can also see the white-primered roof.
If you look closely, you can see the roughly 2-foot diameter dent in the left rear quarter panel... after about two hours of using a jack and a 2x4 braced against the passenger side wall to push it out, we have it enough so i can roll down the window! ...most of the way... Shouldn't be TOO hard to get the rest of it out, but it certainly won't be easy...
you can also see my beautifully ghetto spray-painted wheels. I didn't like them black and I only have 3 of the original hubcaps :)
Overall, it's in pretty damn good shape... if i do say so myself...
