O.K. Not only is this my first Web page but it is also my first attempt at restoring a car. My boyfriend Harley, has a 1964 Chevy Impala SS.xxsolo001xx's 1964 Chevrolet Impala this car just sits in our driveway. I thought I'd do something nice for Harley since He's always talking about "One day I'm going to restore that car" and "If I only had more time and money". so I wrote into that "Pimp Your Ride" show that you see on television in hopes of being accepted. I thought if accepted, what they did was pick up the car, trick it out then bring it back when they were finished.
How lucky I was when within a few days I received an e-mail that said "Congratulations Shannon, you've been accepted for the Pimp Your Ride Sponsorship" Cool - When were they going to pick up the car? Well, It doesn't work out just like that. Turns out that what they do is give you a few Sponsors, with a little work and few bucks, you can "Pimp out your own ride". Which is still cool, you have to just put a little effort into it.
This is where you come in. You get to watch the whole process of restoration. Start to finish.
This is what we're working with....

It's my boyfriend Harleys' car, I don't know much about the mechanics involved. All I know so far - is that it's loud, it's low and it has hydraulics. Here's a few pics of what it looks like. xxsolo001xx's 1964 Chevrolet Impala

xxsolo001xx's 1964 Chevrolet ImpalaIt has a 327 motor, 12" glass packs, bellflower tips and 3 1/2" white walls. Thats about all he mentioned. The interior is in really good condition. All though the carpet needs to be replaced.
