This is my 1987 Nissan 200SX RPS12 Silvia
I was a die~hard 240SX fan, and used to own one, but the 240 has started to become too popular...Ergo, more expensive and often times riced~out. So I decided to go back to a car I had once considered before I had my 240 (which has been sold) that is rarely seen, let alone modified, and maintains some classic lines. Enter the S12.....
These are pictures of the beginning of my Project S12, as she appeared the day I purchased her up in Thornton, Colorado...Bone stock, grandfather owned, grandkid approved.
The car had the CA20e motor with a 5-speed in it, a blue interior in great shape, and still ran strong for having 173k miles on it. She has, of course, not stayed stock for long...
The modifications so far have been few; I've been deployed in Iraq most of the time I've owned the car. To date, I've put in CM/SSC springs and Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable shocks(which made a huge improvement to the ride quality) and a complete Polk/MOMO sound system.
Waiting to be put on are some oop Volk Group C-Ultra 17" 3-piece rims, clear bumper markers, a lip and side~skirts from an SE 200SX, and a full black interior, along with some other items. This will all be posted in photo form as soon as I install it all. Also waiting to be put in is the creme-de-la-creme, my CA18DET power plant!
