1967 Ford Mustang (daisy)

This is my 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe. I got this car when I turned 14 and for the next three years restored it to new. It was originally a Standard 6 cylinder coupe. I was the third owner on the title. It was sold from a Koons Ford dealership in mid 1967. After trading hands 3 times (one non titled) I found it in Summer of 01 after it had set for 4 years not running and collecting rust. The owner was pretty much using her as a trash can. Early into the restoration I came to learn that the car had been hit in the passenger side quarter at some point in its life and repainted a horrible shade of aqua.
I restored the interior to factory specs (light blue with dark blue insets) and then moved onto the exterior body work. I replaced both rear quarters but instead of the typical 67 louvered side vents i went with the flushed out 68 style quarters. After a few months in a body shop it emerged painted in its original Brittany Blue in january 04. While it was in the body shop the engine recieved a clean up of the bottom end. During reassembly the bad luck this car has became known for began. Somehow we overlooked the oil pump drive which had fallen out in the varsal tank during the cleaning. It was installed in the car minus the drive and ran for 15 minutes without oil unrelized. Naturally the motor locked up. Out it came the next day and the process of a compleate overhaul began. Once i got everything straightend out it went back in and in April of 04 it hit the road, compleatly refreshed.
I drove the car daily till the fateful day of July 14th 2004 when i was coming threw a turn on a backroad and a Tie Rod snaped. As fate would have it there happend to be a 01 Chevy 2500 in the oncoming lane and before i could react I slamed front first into it. My car from an insurance point of view was considered a total loss and the cops who were on the scene said i was lucky to be alive. Due to the fact the tie rod was faulty equiptment and couldnt be proven that it wasnt post accident damage the accident was my fault. With only liability i payed for his and was left on my own to fix the stang. Another 6 months in the body shop and it was ready to go again. this time i wasnt worried about originality because the car was far from original sheet metal anymore. I installed a custom sound system (2 rockford fosgate 15s, a panosonic headunit, and a 450 watt audiobahn amp) A grill that I made from a piece of sheet stock that was predrilled, A custom diamond plate encloser for the speakers and amp with matching tool box, and a few other little things here and there.

Well just when i thought i was moving in the right direction again 2 months ago (June 05) Trouble reared its ugly head again. On my way to a graduation party I turned up onto a steep mountain road after signaling about 400 feet before (knowing in my mind what a bad turn off this main road it was). Well the tanker truck behind me wasnt paying attention and got on the brakes too late. It tore the whole back end of the car up but insurance played in my favor this time. Its currently being fixed from all the damage but this time it shouldnt take as long. When i get the car back im tackling my biggest problem since i got this car... the shere lack of power. I have purchased a heated up 289 small block out of a 66 that i will be droping in, along with a rebuilt transmission, gears, 5 lug conversion, power brakes, power steering, and a few cosmetic changes.
Well now that you know her story, you should probley hear about her personality... this car...to put it very simply...hates me. I swear to you it gets pleasure out of putting me in harms way. Im going to add a section eventually on just the crap this car has put me through other than the accidents.
Well heres some 2nd accident prior pics, updates to come soon, hope ya like.
