Nov 2004 Smart Car Roadster 80
bought 8months old with only 2900 miles on the clock and in Shine Yellow, Silver Tridion and Gray plastic front and rear bumper/trim.

Standard car came from Exeter SmartCar dealer (in the UK) with Sound Pack, two stage heated leather seats, semi/auto 6 speed Soft touch gear box. Running on 'TrackLine' 15" alloys. The car was in mint condition.

One week on the tints were added

Then the following week the car went into www.smartsrus.com to have Lambo doors fitted and front and rear colour coding to get rid of the gray bumpers.
a Smarts R Us 100+Bhp upgrade was added too ;)

five days later deep dish 17" Titan Alloy wheels went on to finish the 'look' of the car. fronts running 205/40/17 the rears 225/35/17

This picture was taken while at the new Nottingham Subaru dealership open evening, my car had many ppl looking around it and even ppl getting in it to try it out!!

an extra on these cars is the 'Pods'... Boost and Temp gauges. look kool at night.

The car still has plenty of security too

the Custard Tart went to the Rising Sun Jap show (14th Aug 05) car was on the Yorkshire AutoTrader stand!!!

Jo and I attended the second to last big CAR show of the year. noon to midnight... we entred the best lit car comp!

TRAX 2005 @ Silverstone race circuit, Northampton Emgland (home of the British GP) is the last big show of the year. Custard Tart was there with other Smart cars on the FunkySmart club stand.
While we were there the SKY Tv film crew from 'Men and Motors' were there and did a bit of filming.... Custard Tart was the first to get a mention ;)

at the end of the day it was time for a pic of me and Jo next to the car that drew as many to it than the real Lambo doored car... thats the Orange one!!! very nice but very expensive too ;)

At last 'Minky' and 'Custard Tart' are brought together for a Glow off.... it was hard to pick a winner. :)

Now that Custard Tart is parked at its secrect location somewhere in the country, I've not bought the OE Smart car exterior cover. Looks like a 'Blimp' now! lol

We do get a few days of snow in England!!! lol the Roadster was a night mare with its wide tyres and rear engine!! :(

the Roadster (Custard Tart) has a spanking new twin carbon cans fitted with two 4" slash cut tail pipes.
thanks to www.exhaustsUK.com for all their help, they have done a fab job. Car feels quicker and also is a lot better sounding now!!

the last Bank Holiday in May 2007 we went to the Modified Nationals car show, the 'custard tart' attended, showing off the new pipes.

Along the way a smart carz honey came and had a few pix taken with our cars that were on the smart carz club stand. Just how hot does she look in those hot pants??
