This is my 2002 Mustang. I got the car with the 3.8 and a 5 speed.Mustang = Muscle car. 3.8 = not muscle. I then built the 3.8 into a supercharged 4.2L.I build high performance LS engines for street cars and the racing industry at Schwanke Engines (www.schwankeshortblocks.com). After living the nightmare of a high performance v6 for two and a half years, the solution was obvious... LS conversion. This swap was extremely easy. After fabrication of motor mounts and drilling two new holes in the  transmission crossmember the power plant was in place.The engine is a GenIII 6.0L (366ci) bored .030 with stock stroke brings the cubic inches to 370. I used LS6 heads and camshaft, LS2 intake manifold with a 92mm throttle body and F-body front drive. The flywheel power will be over 400, chassis dyno in a couple weeks. Behind the engine is a T56 from an F-body Camaro followed by a Ford Racing differential, 3.73 gears and an LPW differtial cover. A few other parts on the car are a Hurst short throw shifter, Flowmaster Amercian Thunder exhaust, Ford Racing lowering springs, Eibach shocks/struts, Pioneer audio and GlowShift guages.Check back soon for chassis dyno numbers and more pictures/videos.
