It's bbbaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!! The b!tch is back and the b!tch is black!!!! The Chicken and I have recently celebrated 15 years together! Hoooorah!!!!

I have added the Ram Air decals to the hood and have put the "chickens" back in their rightful places. As soon as I give it a good wash, I'll post some new pix.
And, here it is:
A side view of my car. Chances are real soon, I'm ditching the muffler. I've just grown tired of it and plan to replace it with either a Flowmaster or maybe a Magnaflow to match the hi-flow cat'.
Ahhhh! Finally, I got some tail light blackout covers on there.......much better.
Of course, with the new Ram Air II hood, comes a new version of the cold air intake aka Ram Air. I have already installed this but haven't snapped a pix of it yet. This one is a little more involved and I unfortunately didn't take any pix of it's construction. I used some old vertical blinds that I was going to toss anyway and some fiberglass resin to create a box to sit on top of the radiator with the hoses plugged into it. Right above the radiator is where the two holes for the ram air hood are. I used a little bit of fishtubing cut in half as a gasket to seal the box to the hood. It is quite a snug fit but a little more (and I mean like 2mm) and it'll crush the box. Ask me how I know?!
Okay! Finally I took a pix of the new ram air box. This one is a prototype but it's getting the job done. It took several guesses.....literally, but finally got it. Since it's nearly impossible to get the angle perfect, it uses the hood itself to seal the top of the box and create the wind tunnel. The sides of the box do have rubber seals as mentioned above that serve as a gasket to seal it the best way possible. The center piece also has a strip of rubber tubing to seal it from the center division of the hood.
Disclaimer: No radiators were hurt during the making of this ram air box.
I had to wait till sunset to take this picture. Here is a shot through the vent of the hood lit up with an LED light. As you can see, the hose is near center and the box is pretty sealed up.

There is still a few things left to do with this guy and then I have to say, I'm DONE. After fifteen years, at some point it's gotta come to an end. Right now, it's more replacement than anything else. The old 'bird needs some new ball joints, tranny mount, etc. An aluminum driveshaft is in it's future, some new window tints and maybe, if I have enough motivation left, an aluminum intake manifold will finish it up nicely. If I could score an H.O. Q-Jet and ECM and the ultimate prize, some FIBERGLASS t-tops and rear glass (lexan) CHEAPLY, then I'm sure I can muster up enough juice to add it on. But after that, it boils down to me and the 'bird and the rest of it's life. After the suspension mod', the ride is so good now that it's not really in my interest doing anything more.
Plus, I have a C5 so WTF else do I need?!!!!!!! The rest would just be "beautification" ie. maybe some better or racing seats, better carpet, etc.
