This page is dedicated to my 1971 camaro. It is cranberry red and has a black vinyl top which I love. It was assembled in the Norwood assembly plant on third week of April 1971.

I have had this car for almost a year now. Two of my buddies and I had to drive 1500 miles to get this car and towed it back. Here we had stopped at a perkins for some pancakes. We had some serious munchies from all the driving.

It was a fun trip. The paint is original and somewhat faded....I call it patina. At the moment the car is seating in the garage with the engine apart. I got a different 350 to stuff in her.

350/350 combo This is the engine that was in the car when I got it. It had recently been rebuilt and ran pretty good....Yes I said "ran" because it is now dead. All I will say for now is a heavy right foot and lack of proper blood supply to the brain is not a good combination. That is a story for another day though. I have since gotten a different 350 which I just detailed and painted. I am woozy from all the paint fumes. I should drop that in soon.

Black interior with a console. I love my interior. As you can see the seats are covered. Trust me I have a good reason for that. Since this picture, I have changed the receiver from the Kenwood you see to an alpine. I needed the sirius radio. I have also added front speakers.

Out back I have rears and two subs. All the speakers are ran by two amps in the trunk. That way the sound is clean. These stereo setup perfectly complements the 350 rumble for an orgasmic experience....Well...almost. I will post updated pics soon.

For future plans, I plan to install a LS1/T56 combo from a 4th gen camaro. This is mainly for reability and mpg of this setup. As of now I am just reading up on how to do the swap and saving some green to.

Update
Here are pics of the engine I just put in. Runs pretty good and sounds ever better.

Update II
Engine fired right up and runs pretty good. It had been sitting for almost 2 years since the last start yet it started right up. I drove it the same day and all I can say is this thing pulls hard. I only have 3.08:1 gears out back yet no traction in 1 and 2 if I open it up. On the highway it runs smooth and I have not even gotten to use 6 yet. The rpms are low and it quiet.

I had the PCM programmed to turn the fans on at 190F My temp gauge has not gone past that even when idling for an extended period in the hot weather.

Of the 3 engines I have put in this thing over the past year, this is by far the best.....the T56 is also simply outstanding....
