The car has since been sold as of October 2008.  :(

It was very sad to see it go but the money was much needed in order to further my education.

I had an awesome 3 years (35,000 km's) with the car.

Hopefully I will one day have the please of owning another Grand Prix.

The car was sold for $6,800 with 102,xxx km's on the odo.

I hope the next owner enjoys the vehicle as much as I did.

Enjoy this page dedicated to my first car...

Short Background...

This is my Grand Prix I got at the beginning of August 2005. Its in excellent condition and I've been babying since the day I got it.

I managed to pick this car up at the Manheim Toronto Auction in Milton Ontario. When the car ran through the A/C didnt work and there was a hole in the lower end of the exhuast. Other buyers saw these defects and were hesitant to bid, but I was willing to take a chance knowing that the problems could easily be fixed. I ended up practically stealing the car and could not have been happier at that point.

Upon taking the car to the repair shop I was told that the evaporator on the A/C was fine and that there was plenty of freon gas in the system. The problem turned out to be a bad connection that was easily fixed and only ended up costing me a mear $40.00. Talk about lucky! As for the hole in the exhaust, the pipes and mufflers were examined and the hole turned out to be in the resonator. I then had the resonator removerd and a straight pipe welded into its place, again another cheap quick fix.

When I bought the car in 2005 the odometer was only sitting at 68,000 km's and change. Not bad at all for a 97.

After Nearly a year and storing the car for the winter, the odometer is now sitting at 78 some odd thousand km's.
This car is my daily driver that I use to get to and from school and work.

When i got the car it was bone stock. Almost a year later I have managed to make it look and sound more aggresive, spending what I thought I could afford seeing is how im a starving student.

Just in case you were wondering, No I'm not one of those kids that has their parents buy everything for them.

Here is my mod list of the things that I have done since I picked up the car and below is a list of future mods I would one day like to do when I have the money.
