First off, I'd like to send my condolences to SSgt Scott Sather's family. I had spent time in the Air Force with Scott during Airman Leadership School back in August '97, and was deeply saddened when I heard the news of his passing in April '03. Scott is one of the best individuals to ever grace himself through the United States Military. All I have left is great memories.

SUMMARY
I have learned a lot since my purchase of this car. I'm on a fairly tight budget compared to some, but I'm still able to add a little here and there. I took it to the drags the first summer I owned it (2000) and got totally hooked on drag racing. I first started out running 14.60's @ 98mph. Judging by the 230+ passes I've made since then, maybe 1/2 of the time I've knocked off (13.48 in Seattle) is due to the mods, but the other 1/2 is just from good 'ole hard practice. I have taken this car from bone stock to just what you see here.

I LOVE the dyno, and try to hit it each time I get a power mod. :)

This is a typical dyno pull for a stock LT1. Your #'s might be different, but the curves are similar. These two pulls are after a Borla Y-pipe, straight-piped cat. convertor, Flowmaster Cat-back, and March pullies.

Got the car tuned by a buddy w/ LT1_edit. Wow was I missing out on the party above the stock 5,700 rev limit! Can't wait to get it dyno'd again and see the gains.

Finally finished installing the driver's side seat. I got a pair of APC seats over X-mas last winter, but just haven't had the time to dedicate finishing the install. Anyway, they came out a lot better than I had anticipated. Overall they are a bit boney, but nothing I can't get used to. Decent seats for the money spent.

.....update on the seats - 30 March 2008. I didn't think these sseats would hold up over time, but so far they're holding up qquite well. Only thing I've seen is the black fabric is fading a little on the upper lumbar due to the intense sun around here.
