We were searching for a safe family car , one with enough room for the long legged teenagers , and a bit of style also . WE GOT IT ALL . Smooth fast and easy to drive , what a great car.
The amazing 300engine is red lined at 6200 but runs strongly right thru to the rev limiter at 7000rpm .
The MB Tex in light grey is a little boring and I will get some sheepskin covers soon , but it is a very durable product and in excellent condition still.
Enough leg room for everyone , and room for a couple of extra teens in the trunk, LOL.
The garage companion for the 300sel is the little 240D (metric tractor). I will eventually build a page for that car .
edit; cost of fuel got to me and I sold the SEL . I'm now enjoying driving the little diesel beastie, slow but very steady, LOL.
