I am a huge proponent of the argument that cars should handle well from the factory, unfortunately most of them don't and the Mustang is one of them. That is one problem that is easily solved by making one call to Eibach. Our springs arrived in two days and swapping out the factory coils took less than an hour and gave our Stang a new 'tude and better handling.
Jack up the car and using jack stands so it doesnt fall on you get the front tires off and do this...
Next you have to loosen and remove the upper strut bolts, leaving at least one on a few threads so it doesnt fall out on the ground smashing your toe (trust me on this one).

You're gonna need one of these, you can get it from your local Kragen, most places even rent them.
so you can do this...
Slide the strut back into place with the new Eibach spring on it and replace the top four bolts, snug them up by hand and rotate (if neccesary) the bottom of the strut so it lines up with the spindle, line up the holes, insert the bolts and tighten to spec.

The rear is a pretty simple process too, but you do have to support the frame high enough to lower the axle after removing the lower shock bolt so you pull down and remove the spring (yes all that holds the spring in place are the rear shocks).

I know it sounds too easy but it took us about 1 hour using a lift and air tools, so if you are performing this surgery in your driveway with hand tools you should expect that it will take about 2.5-3 hours. If you have an older car or live in a humid climate I would reccomend spraying everything with WD-40 the day before and then again in the morning before mounting your attack.

Sexy huh?
