This is my '87 E30 318i
This car belonged to my father...it was bone stock when i got her... a few rust spots (but very clean car besides that), paint was peeling off... but hey, it's a great first car :)
I was a student in college at the time when i got the car... i needed to get to school and back everyday and my dad bought a benz C230, while in school i worked part time and started saving up so i could fix the car up a little bit... Finally did the body w ork and got her a nice paint job, swapped out the engine (it was a 316 Carburetor believe it or not...a 1.2L but i didn't want to go too big so i swapped the engine with a 318i...kept it 4 cyclinder but a 1.8L... fall inlove with the way it performed after the swap)

Extorior:
shaved the antenna
shaved trunk BMW Emblem
shaved second lock on driver door? (dont ask but people told they came stock from BMW?)
shaved alarm light that was on the back of the car right under the licenses plate
removed rear trailer hook (it was awesome when people used to rear end me with it on thou hahaha their cars would crumble and nothing would happen to mine ;)
changed stock muffler with 318is exhaust system
painted side mirrors same color as the car (stock came black)
new goodyear tires (didn't have enough money for rims :( wish i did..)
replaced the stock head lights with European Spec Ellipsoidal Headlights
replaced stock differential with 318is differential
Interior :
Changed stock steering wheel with aftermarket steering wheel (silver black)
added aftermarket foot pedals (silver and black)
added hand brake aftermarket cover? (not sure what its called but i toke out the older rubber cover that came stock and replaced it with a aftermarket one thats also back and silver)
changed the instrument cluster gauge.. the stock one came with a big CLOCK instead of the RPM lol swapped it out with cluster with RPM and oil pressure and the fact that the temp. gauge didn't work... but not like they do any way...(i had to slap the dash board for it to pop up to its current place haha)

a clarion 400 watt amp (2 channel for the sub)
a CRUISE 800 watt amp (4 channel for my speakers/highs)
a 12" rockford daul coil sub woofer
pioneer rear speakers
blaupunkt front speakers
pioneer tweeters

SOLD the car because i moved back to Canada....and damn don't i ever miss it! :( good times! hah
