I have an Alpine CDA-9835. I've not had any problems with it. I love this CD player...I hope to get an iPod for it.

I built a temporary pair of kickpanels...They don't look so hot but they will do until i get time to do them right. At the moment they are holding a pair of Orion P5.2 components.

Going to my highs is a Jl 300/4. It powers everything very well. This is not a good picture, but its the only one I have as of right now.

I somehow managed to score a pair of prototype 15 inch Linear Motor Technology (LMT) drivers made by TC Sounds. They have an amazing Xmax of over 46mm one way, Varying density voice coil, 2000Wrms + power handling, Aluminum cones, Eclipse TiPro basket, Dual 10" spiders, woven tinsel leads, and quad stacked magnets.

I did some testing to find the resonant freqency of the vehicle. I had a blast doing it...and found out some good info.

The box I built for them is 1.5 inches thick all the way around except for the wall that is part of the port. I glued everything with Tightbond II and ran a 2 inch screw every 4 inches or so. All of the cuts were perfect, so the caulk was just a formality. It had no leaks. In the end, it weighs around 150 pounds. FYI, installed this crap alone...

The JBL BPx2200.1 that powers them is giving the two protos a modest 1200Wrms a peice. They need double that to do their job correctly. Another amp will come in the future...you will see.

I faced them up to see if they were louder, and then fiberglasses a cheap little peice to cover up the back wall and mount some extra Planet Audio 6.5" components I had laying around. They actually sound pretty good. My highs are so much louder and clearer with them installed. Everything just comes to life when you add more speakers from all directions. lol

Nice system man. I love that machine. How did u get one. I got a question for ya. Did u make the component enclosures in the front on the floor of the truck and the ones on the back right below the rear window? Cause I was wondering you could make me some. Let me know thanks.
