UPDATE: I installed the GTM 4.2L stroker engine back in April and broke it in pretty good before taking the car on the AKA Rally in July. The car drove beautifully on 13.5 PSI except for a few overheating instances. Currently we are installing a Methanol Kit with heavy duty fan & shroud for some extra cooling and working on a custom aluminum overflow tank.
To help ensure the Bonneville Salt Flats speed run we were doing on the AKA Rally was going to be a safe one; We put in a 6-point roll cage, Schroth 4-point D.O.T. approved harnesses and a 3 nozzle Fire Suppression System. I also put on some new Pilot Sport 2 rubber, corner balanced the car, high speed balanced the wheels and got a new alignment.
I upgraded the suspension with adjustable front & rear camber arms, the new TEIN Monotube Flex and GTSPEC underchassis braces. We upgraded the clutch to triple carbon disks and Jet Hot coated all the piping for engine bay temp control. I am still working on swapping out the CO2 system for a NOS setup.
Right now I have 3 slectable maps I can choose from via the HKS V - Pro Monitor with Boost Controller: ( I am using my Spearco Methanol kit for extra insurance against detonation, NOT for extra power, on all of my maps)

I expect the car, with it's new look, to be ready for NOPI Nationals September 15/16th. I hope to see everyone there.
