LUND screen grille w/ blacked out emblem
FORMER T-Rex Billet Grille Set with Toyota Emblem.
T-Rex recommends using a die grinder to cut out the middle of the factory grille, but I held a hacksaw blade in my hand (with a leather glove)and found that I had better precision with it.
NO other inserts required cutting, just drilling small, inconspicuous holes. Main insert took about an hour after checking and double checking my drillmarks.
Attach factory emblem
Attached factory emblem with epoxy, 2 bolts,
lock washers, plastic bracket,
and a couple nuts (don't forget loctite!)
Those are just waterspots
T-Rex Billet Grille - Looks killer in person. Powder-coated black with a high polished finish. Digital camera screws up the grille's sharp looks.
I was going to have the black factory grille color-keyed but found that the process was going to be hard and close to the price a complete billet grille set.
