The Story Behind the Scenes

Out of the blue I got a phonecall from a friend who runs a Film Production Company here in Iceland - Hi Sigfus do you still own that Classic Mustang - Yeah - Well I have a request from London - ? -  We are helping them out - They are making a Music Video with Example - Who ??? - And they found your MIB Mustang on Cardomain.com ! - They only want your car !!! - Do you want to be a part of this for a nice pile of cash ? - Hell Yeah !!

I did not know who Example was, so I googled him and found that he is a number one selling artist in the United Kingdom.  His new album "Playing in the Shadows" peaked at #1 in the UK Album Charts and of that album he so far had two #1 smash hits "Changed the Way you Kiss me" and "Stay Awake".  I knew the songs just not the name of the artist.

Example ( real name Elliot John Gleave ) who kick-started 2011 featuring on the Wretch 32 #2 smash hit ‘Unorthodox’.  I had heard this one too !  He also bagged one of the biggest hyped tracks of 2011 with the Skream collaboration ‘Shot Yourself in the Foot Again’ which received over 9 million YouTube views, climbed to Number One on HypeMachine and became a viral hit across the world.  His new #1 Changed the Way you Kiss me has over 32 million hits  on Youtube - Wow !!  I have listened to his album "Won´t go Quietly" and that is quite good too !

Looks like Example is a rising star and I like most of his music and by the looks of the Midnight Run Video I am glad I took part !

The filming with the Mustang took one whole day ( 12 hours ) and I was the Stuntdriver for Example, which was very cool ! - Great fun !
