Hi, I'm from India... this is our new vehicle the ultimate LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO. You can see our others cars as well.. have quite a few.. Big extended Family :)
One thing you'll notice in all pics is the steering wheel on cars in India is on right side, we drive on the left side of the road unlike most countries.
Gallardo and M3 together
Our gallardo at a small car show here in the city.

our old Diablo which was replaced by the Gallardo.

M3

our 2 Mercedes SL and ML and Bajaj scooter heheh. These 3 motors are driven regularily unlike lamborghini.
My grandfather does not like the new technology and high tech gadgets in cars these days and chooses to drive this 20 year old Mercedes.
The Mumbai-Pune expressway I like to race my cars on. Hardly any cars.
Random pics of friends and myself with cars.

2 cars very popular in India . date back to the 60's but can still be seen on the road today. Hindustan Ambassador and Fiat Padmini and 600.

Many people or should i say "westerners" associate India with poverty and slums and generally a poor country. The media is to blame for that. No doubt theres poverty. The thing with India is the population is soo much ofcourse many people are very poor 40-50%, but the rest are living comfortable middle class lifestyles and 10-20% are unbelieveably rich. With the population over 1 billion and 20% of people very rich thats around 200 million people doing very well. That is much more than western countries. But ofcourse the media will never take the good out of India and choose to show the bad side. India is currently on the rise. We gained independence just 59 years ago. what was U.S doing after 50 years of independence?? We are already the worlds 5th largest internet using nation with almost 40million internet users, behind only US, Japan, China and Germany. We are also the 2nd largest cell phone using nation and will have almost 120 million users by 2008 behind only China. The point I'm trying to make is, we are not only about slums and poverty as we are portrayed. One fact is the survey done by the UN rated Indians as the happiest people in the world. Even the poor in India are happy as the atmosphere and social lifestyle is the greatest of all. Time passes slowly in India unlike western countries where people are always searching for time. I've been to many countries around the world but I always find myself wanting to come back to India. The true value of life is the greatest in India,no wonder so many westerners Americans and British are leaving high paying executive jobs and moving to India to seek peace, tranquility and quality of life. Next time you think of India. dont think of farmers and tribal ppl running around. theres more to it than that. its not what you seen on tv. everything you have. well match it and beat it.
leave your comments. I know there will be some hate mail just because I'm "brown" from India.
