PAGE 2 ARE FREE MODS TO DO TO YOUR GRAND PRIx
-reversing engine mounts(dog bone)
-lowering your boost control valve
-painting your dash
-removing the throttle body screen
-debadging
-REPLACING FRONT VALVE COVER GASKET(very common on the 3800)

This is my 1998 grand prix GTP supercharged. i feel often times people sorta underestimate the power of the GTP. curiously enough the GTP rather it be a 4 or 2 door it is considered a family car. i could see the gt or the SE but why would a supercharged car even be considered to be a family car. the car comes stock with about 240 horses and about 280torque. one downside to the car is that the tranmsission is a 4T65E HD transmission which is the upgraded version then whats in the GT but it can only safely handle 280lbs of tourque...well thats the stock power output..who the fuck is the person in GM that developed that transmission and what the hell was he thinking. with minor mods to this car it could be put over 300 horsepower. ive seen these cars run in the 10's and 11's. the L67 engine is a 3800 series 2. the engine in the GTP is slightly upgraded from what is found in the GT. if your ddriving down the road you wont be able to tell a GT from a GTP other then the emblem on the side

Heres the mods i have done so far
~lowered boost valve
~cold air intake
~180 t-stat
~front strut tower brace(custom painted.)
~u-bend and resonator removed
~reversed engine mount bushings
~throttle screen removed
~8500k series headlights
~Silver star foglights.
~brembo low dust brake pads
~hyper white corner lights
~hyper white reverse lights
~red L.E.D underglow
~painted calipers red.
~Extreme breather filter
~GTP red overlays
~54x4 pioneer head unit
~custom painted Red flake dash
~custom painted Red flake engine components
~DRL removed

heres the before and after shot of the engine bay sooo far.

GGA1995's 1998 Pontiac Grand PrixGGA1995's 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix well i bought this filter thinking it was the size of an intake filter come to realize it was...but for a scooter. and i figured it beautiful matched my other red under the hood and fit right in the place of the oil cap so id use it as a breather filter.

my new intake. i got it off ebay for 13 bucks. the filter they sent me was kinda cheap so i bought a bigger better one.

GGA1995's 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix

my new duralst red top battery. i bought a battery that was more powerful then recommended. it has 120 more CCA's then stock. it made huge difference at start-up.

my new paint job on the strut tower brace

Interior pictures.
before i begin with pictures the first picture shown is the paint i used. this paint is hard to find and expensive. i get tons of emails and questions in my guestbook on what kind it is. the key to this paint. is do many many light coats or the paint covers the glitter and its not so shiney.

GGA1995's 1998 Pontiac Grand PrixGGA1995's 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix
the paint i used called Metal Specks. it comes only in blue silver red and black ive found silver looks the best. and on the right i have a picture of the clear top coat that i use.

GGA1995's 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix

my center counsel. this was my first test doing a complete sand job priming and then painting. ive been asked many times in person how i fiberglassed this piece.

just a new shot of the interior speaker covers painted. side vents, center counsel, and the main over part of the dash. all together ive used about 5 cans of paint on the interior

this is literaly my best friend. its kept me from getting in trouble sooo many times. at the time and i belive still is the best cobra radar detector available for 180 bucks ive saved about 10000 in ticket costs lol. i definetly recommend Cobra to anyone. it has amazing distance and is very accurate.

the gtp is equipped with something called performance shift mode. it allows the computer make the trans shift closer to the redline if not at the redline for more power and torque.

im kinda going for the black out look in the front. once i get my black out headlight covers im gonna remove my decals on the plate cover. i already removed the pontiac emblem and got the plate cover. im thinking about painting the bottom grewy part black. or maybe even red lol. MAYBE

old headlights VS new ones

GGA1995's 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix

if you notice in the headlight it has a blue reflection. this is for one because of my new headlight but 2 because if you remove the headlight from the car and look inside the headlight youll notice a metal cylinder inside if you remove that it lets the blue reflection get out everywhere. its kinda a pain in the ass to get out.

hey, nice GTP. I have a question for you and any other GTP owners out there. My car is destroyed, and I'm looking for a replacement. It's a toss up between a 96-99 Taurus SHO and a 01-03 Grand Prix GTP. On paper they are pretty much equal. Which would you recommend and why?
