Some new modifications.
Bought some aspherically bent European mirrors from Crevier BMW. They don't have the USA "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" text.
E38 part is 51-16-8-165-112
E39 part is 51-16-8-250-438
Then we got creative and had a sign shop customize the glass.

Aftermarket and BMW trunk nets.
The BMW one is no longer available. This aftermarket one isn't bad, but it doesn't fit perfectly. I use the BMW net to cover the BassLink (and my milk crate full of junk) and the aftermarket one for the trunk floor.
Went looking at Minis. I can only afford the $35 Mini pillow on top of the real one!
Maybe a Mini someday, when we retire the E30.
Added Xenonmatch fog lights from www.Hoen-USA.com for a closer match to the color of the headlights.
OEM bulbs are a little more yellow, picture on the left. Hoen on the right.
