This is my 5 spd 1989 VN commodore. Its my first car and iv spent heaps of time getting it like it is. I havn't really spent a lot of money on it cos iv been lucky enough to get all of it cheap. When I first bought it it only had the front bumper and the rest of the car was pretty much stock apart from the suspension and motor. I bought a VN berlina which had been written off in the front end and put the interior, rear bar and side skirts on mine. My dad came across some VS leather interior which fit straight in. I changed the fibre glass rear bar to a genuine VS senator bar as well which wasnt the easiest thing to fit. Ive got 2 kenwood 6x9s and 2 sony 6"s on the parcel shelf, 2 x 600 watt 12" clarion subs and a 600 watt 12" pionner sub in the boot with tweeters in the front and a kenwood mp3 head unit.

Thought it was time to give the commie a new look so i decided to respray it Wildfire orange. Also wanted to make it stand out from all the other average VN's out there so i put a VS Dashboard and door trims in. The dashboard wouldnt fit the VN fire wall so we had to change that as well. Picked up a VS 3.8L cheap as well. So basically its a VS in a VN shell.
