This is mine and my dads 1964 Ford Falcon. We've been working on it for about 6 years on and off when we have time for it. We have done alot of work to it. First of all, it had a straight six cylinder engine in it with a small engine compartment. My dad bought a 1986 Mustang GT with a 302ci small block in it. It had been in a fire, so we stripped the suspension, drivetrain, rack and pinion steering, and the subframe from it. It took alot of work but we eventually fit it all to the Falcon.

This is the passenger side. We are working on the body work right now. We almost had it done, then decided to do a couple more things like shave the drip rails and french the tail lights(mount them on the inside of the trunk so that the lense is sucked into the back instead of sticking out). We also covered the whole where the fuel spout is. We have to open the trunk to put gas in now, but it looks better I think.

We shaved the door handles and are installing "poppers" that pop the doors open by a romote, like a keyless entry keypad. It gives the car a smoother look.

This is what the rear end looks like with the frenched tail lights. The lenses aren't in because we are doing the bondo work. The green you see in the lights is masking tape to keep the bondo out of where the lense screws on. We also just recently had the exhaust done on it. We brought it to Pats Muffler and Welding Shop, a local exhaust shop in Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. We had exhaust on it that we bought off of Jegs.com, but after we did the mini-tub and put the coil-over shocks in, it didn't fit.

This is the drivers side. You can see the dual oil filter set up under the front end. We had to relocate the oil filter because the frame in the falcon was right in the way of where the oil filter goes on the 302.

This is the front of the car. We just had both bumpers, grill, headlights, and tailights on the car to make sure they fit right before we paint them. We eliminated all of the chrome on the whole car except for the craiger sst wheels we have on it. She is going to be painted a chameleon, color flip-flop paint called "Pure Purplene". If you have ever seen a mid 90's mustange with a chameleon paint on it, this is the color. My dad works in the paint building at the Twin Cities Ford Assembly Plant. A paint rep gave him the paint. The amount of paint that he has is worth about $1500 dollars. Yeah, we got lucky he knows some good people! Everything is going this color. I think it should look pretty good with those body lines.

That thing is gonna look sweet with the shaveing and camelion paint! good luck with the rest of the project. Sure helps alot to know the right people. I know that paint is terribly expensive but oh what a final product, you got a hell of a price tho
