Here is the engine... its a 2.3 liter High Output (140ci) OHV 4 cyl hooked up to a 3 speed auto transmission...
Original engine...

about 2 weeks later...

All put back together and clean...

New Accel ignition coil, distributer rotor, distributer modual, and 8.8 mm spiral core wires...

March 2006, intake back on for the summer and red wire covers...
April 2006, 2 busted tranny mounts at the same time...
A few weeks later, my accident... with the front bumper and headlight assembly off, it gave me plenty of time to clean up the engine...

Over the summer the car developed a rattle. turns out the timing chain tensioner was worn/broke... Winter of 2006 it was replaced... March of 2007 i blew the engine... So i got an engine from an 87 CFI car, swapped my head and intake on, hooked my transmission up to the donor engine and went from there...

New drive axles...

The engine was finished being replaced in early May.. a few weeks later a deer ran infront of the car while i was doin 75mph and i had to swerve to miss it. I lost control of the car but i kept it on the road, but here is the damage it did to my tires...


Right after that happened, i was driving down a back road when a goose few infront of the car and i hit it at 40mph...

After all that happened i got the car all fixed up for the most part. i showed the car in Carlisle in June and placed 3rd in my class...Then i blew the replacement engine in late June and was forced to get rid of the car...
