This 1991 VW Golf GL has been babied from day one; however where it was babied is the problem. The car was originally purchased in Minnesota so it has moderate salt damage, but nothing unexpected. I am the 3rd owner, I got this lovely piece of VW heaven for a measly $500, it has 150K on the engine and trans. So far I have replaced the radiator, condenser, and the entire rear brake section from booster to drums. So far I have dropped the car 2.5" all the way around with KYB shocks, struts, and springs. It has a very aggressive look. Soon the big bumper conversion and quad round headlights will add to the aggressive appearance. This page is going to be documentation of the evolution of the Golf GL.

Now this beautiful beast is my old 1991 VW Corrado G60, I know my opinion is biased but this was definitely one of the nicest Corrados that I have ever personally seen (magazines aside guys and gals), I am talking about a daily driver. My Corrado had 5 coats of Tornado Red and an additional 5 coats of clear on top of that! The paint glowed, and may I take this chance to mention Zaino Brothers Car Polish absolutely made this paint look deep enough to drown in. I am in no way associated with Zaino but when something lives up to its billing I don't mind mentioning it. This car has a long but impressive list of mod's: 68mm Supercharger pulley, Solid intercooler tubing, RSR outlet, Neuspeed Chip, ported and polished supercharger, 180 cam, Slotted rotors, ISV reroute, Hobbs Switch, larger injectors, etc, etc, etc. Writing all of this down makes me realize how much I miss my old car! :(
I will publish new pictures as the Golf evolves, and after writing the nice things about my Corrado, maybe another one will grace this page of VW pride!
Ther is a new VW in the stable! I recently added this project to my list, it is a 1990 VW Corrado! I know it looks a lot like my old one. I would tell you about the awesome deal I got on this car but I think I would get cussed out by some of you guys! Anyway I can't wait to start posting updates!

So now the complete lineup looks like this!

Well there has been a new developement in the car linup, today my Golf was smashed by a Ford Focus!!!!!!! Here is what the damage looks like:

What's really messed up is the bitch never even asked my wife if she was hurt, ok, drunk, etc. People today are really rude, thankfully the lady was the only one issued a citation by big blue! Now for the car that took out one of my babies!

And people wonder why I hate Fords, not to worry though. Once I find out the insurance settlement I will decide if a new toy is in the works or work begins on the Corrado!
Ladies and gentlemen, the new toy has arrived! Meet my 1990 Vw Corrado, she is dressed in panty dropper black, with some sexy ass 18" Milli Miglia Spiders! Oh, did I forget to mention she now breathes with the assistance of a T3/T4 turbo! Can you say, Boost Inside!

Peace!
