I purchased this 9-2x Aero brand new in July 2005 when I decided I wanted a WRX but had always loved Saab styling. The 9-2x was perfect.
So far I have the obligatory K&N panel filter, silencer delete, and VDO boost guage, a Cobb AccessPort running Stage 2 93 Octane, TurboXS 3" stealthback exhaust with a high-flow Perrin cat and a Remus oval-tip backbox, Megan Racing UP, KYB GR-2 Struts with Tein H-Tech Springs, Whiteline Quick Release rear strut tower bar, slotted & cross drilled rotors, McCulloch 10,000K HID system, 22% tint all around, and I tossed in a 10" Audiobahn Alum10X DVC sub in a sealed AudioArt box running off an Audiobahn 8002T Amp. The head unit is Alpine CDA-9807 and I'm running Sirius into it. Outside I have 18" hyperblack Enkei RPM2 rims,
I love the overall look... much more the part of a euro hatch now. And it still fits 2 mountain bikes in the back.
That'll probably wrap up this project as I'd like the driveline to last me through grad school.

Clean...not too low.
But regretting the caliper painting...
The daytime picture doesnt give the 10,000K color justice.
They're just a little too purple to give good contrast in hazy conditions.
a good color match from the VDO gauge. The ancient cell phone dates the pictures.
BEFORE: big fender gaps and lots of body roll AFTER: tightened up, as it should be.
Not sure if adding a waist spoiler would make it look more or less than the WRX... So I'll hold off.
Humble beginnings
